Yarn - Worsted

But really, any gauge, it just depends on how wide you want the scarf. Mine is approx. 6.5 inches wide.

Stitches to know:
c4b - slip next 2 sts onto C4N and leave at back of work. K2 then K2 from CN
c4f - slip next 2 sts onto CN and leave at front of work.

co 42 stitches

Row 1, 3, 5: k2 *p2 k2 Rep from *
Row 2, 4, 6: p2 *k2 p2 Rep from *
Row 7: k2 p2 k until 4 from end p2 k2
Row 8 and all even rows: p2 k2 p until 4 from end k2 p2
Row 9: k2 p2 k2 *c4b k4 rep 3 times from * p2 k2
Row 11: k2 p2 k until 4 from end p2 k2
Row 13: k2 p2 k6 *c4f k4 rep 2 times from * c4f p2 k2

Repeat rows 7-14 until desired length

Final 6 rows:
Row 1: k2 *p2 k2 rep from *
Row 2: p2 *k2 p2 rep from *
Repeat these rows twice more.

  2. I used Bernat Satin Solids in Plum Mist Heather. It's REALLY soft!
